This resembles a classic freight house common on most all railroads. Freight houses were used for receiving, loading, unloading and storage of freight for customers. This medium size freight house is loosely based on a structure used on the C&O Railroad and the building measures a scale 70' by 24' with 12' tall walls.

This model is one of our Hobbyist line of models. It uses simple construction and instructions, making them relatively quick and easy to build while still using our excellent graphics and details.

This yellow brick with brown trim freight house model has a classic look. It has 3 track side loading doors, 3 loading doors opposite and 1 at the end. At the other end is the office area. Optional details include:

This downloadable paper model kit includes seven (7) buildings and structures common too many small railway yards. Includes rail yard office, control tower, shop, open shed, switchman's/weight man's shanty, pump house and electrical cabinets. And because of their generic nature, these small paper buildings can serve a multitude of other uses around a layout.
